The State of Black America 2010

The National Urban League’s State of Black America 2010 // Jobs: Responding to the Crisis addresses the staggering job losses the country continues to face.

Confronting nationwide unemployment, the report outlines innovative steps that must be taken—including supporting small businesses and the emerging green economy, reforming education and expanding broadband access—to move this country and our urban communities forward toward full economic and social equity.

The report presents the National Urban League’s plan for creating jobs and includes the 2010 Equality Index,™ which examines African-American and Latino progress in economics, education, health, civic engagement and social justice. Authors include Dr. Bernard Anderson, Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, Dr. Valerie Rawlston Wilson, Education Secretary Arne Duncan, and National Urban League President and CEO, Marc H. Morial.

UNTUCK is proud to work with the National Urban League on the concept, design and execution of such an invaluable annual publication. Purchase your copy at www.nul.org.
